Nursing election: Thapa-led panel reveals 21 points’ commitment

Two panels -- Professional panel and progressive panels have their candidacy in the upcoming election for the 19th central task committee of the Nursing Association.
Muna Thapa-led panel has come up with 21 point commitment which includes making the fees for its lifetime members by reimbursement to extend Nepal Nursing Association membership, to implement the provision of salary of nurses and per the government rules and inspect them, to make arrangements for maintaining nurse-patient ratio in all government, nongovernmental and private hospitals, help in making risk allowance for nurses working 24 hours under risk, eliminate volunteer service in nursing profession, among various other commitment.
A total of 13 candidates are vying for different positions from Thapa-led panel. Out of which there is one male member. The list of candidates is as following:
Urmila Shrestha (senior chair) 
Bimala Kumari Shah (vice-chair),
Yashoda Baral (General Secretary)
Jaya Mishra (Secretary)
Kabita Acharya (Treasurer)
Jyoti Ranabhat, Bhimkumari Shrestha, Prema Laxmi Khagi, Mohan Kumari Gair, Bina Kumari Yadav, Israel Shah, Sita Bhusal and Mira Gurung have their candidacy in members.
