UAE returnee Nepali tests COVID-19 positive

Kathmandu, March 25
A resident of Dhading district who returned from United Arab Emirates have been tested positive of COVID-19. The 32 year male had recently returned from UAE. He is currently under treatment in isolation ward in Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku. With him the total number of coronavirus positive cases in Nepal have reached three.
According to Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal the person was staying in a hotel in Kathmandu. The UAE returnee had come to Nepal from Air Arabia flight Number G9537 at 10:09 p.m. on March 19.
Conract tracing of those who were in the same flight and the persons who were in contact with is going on as per the health ministry.
