A new mother has been airlifted by Nepal Army in Bajhang today as she suffered post partum haemorrage.
A thirty six year old Kabita Darji of Chabispathibhera rural municipality was rescued by the army.
Doctors at the district's hospital had done surgery on her to take her baby out. Her relatives had taken her to the hospital only after two days of her labour pain.
According to Dr Milan Khadka of the District Hospital it was recommended that her surgery be performed a day earlier but her relatives denied.
Later the hospital had performed the surgery.
She was airlifted by the army after there was no compression in the uterus and her bleeding didn't stop. She was referred to Surkhet.
