Kathmandu, February 25

Chinese health authorities informed that death toll from coronavirus reached to 2,663 as 500 new cases were reported across mainland China by Tuesday.

As per the Aljazeera, the virus has now infected more than 80,000 globally and killed at least 2,700.

Meanwhile, Iran's deputy health minister Iraj Harirchi has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a tweet by the ministry's media adviser. According to official numbers released by the health ministry on Tuesday, 15 people have died among 95 confirmed cases in Iran. 

Likewise, Austria confirmed its first two cases of coronavirus, as per the spokeswoman for the health authority in the province of Tyrol, while Croatia confirmed its first case of coronavirus infection in a patient hospitalised in the capital Zagreb.

On the other hand, South Korea reported 84 new cases of the coronavirus and reached the total numbers to 977, as per the state news agency Yonhap.
