Kathmandu, March 4

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli successfully underwent kidney trasnplantation at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital today. The health condition of PM Oli is stable, according to hospital.
The transplanted kidney have started functioning well. PM Oli has been kept at the transplantation ward in the hospital, said Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital executive directorDr Prem Krishna Khagda.  
According to the doctors PM will have to stay in the hospital for at least five days.
Speaking to the press in a conference held in the hosipal Dr Khadga said, "The health condition of both the PM and the donor is sound."
Samikshya Sangraula had donated one of her kidneys to the PM.
This is the second time that the PM underwent a kidney transplant. He had undergone kidney transplant 12 years ago in India.
